Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: East Hanover, New Jersey
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25/Hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6a-2:30p, M-F
Responsibilities
Perform packaging operations according to customer orders and production schedules
Operate and monitor packaging equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect equipment and perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed
Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with plant and environmental requirements
Stock packaging materials (pallets, labels, tape, slip sheets, etc.)
Maintain housekeeping and a clean work area
Meet production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements
Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
1–3 years of relevant manufacturing or packaging experience preferred
Willingness to work heavy overtime, including extended daily hours and occasional Saturdays
Ability to wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, hard hat, eye protection, face shields, respirators, etc.)
Ability to work in a high-hazard industrial environment
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements (standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders/stairs)
