This position posting is location flexible. A valid driver’s license is essential and will involve approximately 25% travel outside the territory, presenting opportunities for broader engagement.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.
Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
Support national, regional, and territorial sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
Partner with Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
Collaborate and strategize with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.
Communicate with sales and clinical teams in the region.
Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service, and support.
Act as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in mapping technology.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma + a minimum of 6 years of related experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
Associate degree + a minimum of 4 years of related experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
Bachelor degree + a minimum of 2 years of related experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
Preferred Qualifications
B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a technical discipline with a minimum of four years of work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
Proven track record with technical training assignments.
Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, hospital/clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
Additional Job Requirements
Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
Clinical Specialists must be present within their assigned territory each day.
Occasional travel outside the territory and overnight travel may be required.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and visually interact with personal computers.
Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for 8 hours a day.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Base salary range: $120,000–$125,000 (U.S. excluding Puerto Rico).
