Account Sales Manager - Healthcare
The Account Manager plays a key role in solving critical business challenges and building strong, lasting customer relationships in the healthcare space. This position focuses on understanding each customer’s environment and aligning Ricoh solutions with their mission‑critical goals through strategic engagement with decision‑makers and influencers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts to increase Ricoh’s market share.
Customer Insight:
Understand the customer’s environment and buying process, focusing on their needs rather than predefined products or services.
Problem Solving:
Address known and uncovered business challenges through research, questioning, and tailored solutions.
Relationship Building:
Open doors with decision-makers and influencers to generate sales opportunities.
Communication & Presentation:
Deliver compelling presentations in person and virtually; articulate how buying decisions impact financial outcomes.
Value Differentiation:
Use storytelling to demonstrate Ricoh’s ability to accelerate digital transformation and uncover opportunities aligned with Ricoh’s portfolio.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
3+ years of proven business development experience.
Experience in IT and/or software services preferred.
Knowledge of document workflow solutions and processes preferred.
Foundational understanding of P&L components.
Strong research and analytical skills to enable meaningful business conversations.
Ability to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail.
Experience selling in healthcare is preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proven success in collaborative influence‑building.
Solid understanding of solution design processes.
Ability to bring thought leadership to customer engagements.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong relationship‑building skills with stakeholders.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of Ricoh offerings.
Ability to assess customer environments and develop strategies to expand services.
High learning agility and adaptability.
Skilled at navigating customer approval processes and creating advocates.
Working Conditions
Office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
Minimal physical effort; primarily sedentary work with occasional walking, standing, and light lifting (under 10 lbs).
Requires moderate dexterity for tasks such as keyboard use and document handling.
Travel required (approximately 20%), including overnight trips.
