Your expertise will be critical in maintaining compliance, implementing safety protocols, and supporting operational teams throughout the project./ph3The Specifics of the Role/h3ulliPartner with Operations, Safety and Environmental Teams to secure program compliance controlling hazardous energy./liliEnsure appropriate inspection and testing documents are complete prior to energization of equipment and gear on project sites. Coordinate with QC department./liliUtilize SPS-101 Energy Isolation Guidebook in conjunction with NFPA70E as base for Energy Program on project site./liliConduct routine audits to ensure energy isolation program is being followed and safe working conditions are maintained throughout project site./liliManage routine meetings, participating in High-Risk Activity, to update Project and Operations teams on any issues and progress from Energy Program./liliCreate and manage reports to present to management teams on updates of energy program./liliTrain new and existing team members on requirements of energy program to ensure site safety./liliCoordinate with Commissioning Manager to establish commissioning sequences and testing./liliManage the site Lock Out/Tag Out program./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 10+ years experience in Electrical Trade./lili10-15 years of experience with MEP systems, and a strong background in managing hazardous energy in large, complex construction projects./liliExtensive knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)./liliNFPA 70e Certification./liliNFPA CESCP Certification a plus./liliExperience with MV/HV systems and Electrical Testing and Verification./liliData Center experience a plus./liliAbility to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding./liliAbility to lift objects at least 50lbs./li/ulh3Some Things You Should Know/h3ulliOur clients and projects are nationwide Travel will be required./liliNo other builder can offer the collaborative design-build approach that Clayco does./liliWe work on creative, complex, award-winning, high-profile jobs./liliThe pace is fast!/liliThis position is classified as a safety-sensitive role in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
