Must live within a 50-mile radius of the DMV/NCR./ppYour future duties and responsibilities:/pulliResearch and Analysis: Conducting user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and behaviors./liliDesign and Prototyping: Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of user interfaces, ensuring they are intuitive and aligned with user expectations. Ability to work independently with coding in either Java or Python./liliUsability Evaluation: Evaluating the usability of designs through testing and feedback, identifying areas for improvement./liliCollaboration: Working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement and refine designs./liliHuman Factors Integration: Applying human factors principles (e.g., cognitive load, perception, motor skills) to design systems that are safe, efficient, and comfortable for users./liliDocumentation and Reporting: Documenting design decisions, research findings, and usability test results./li/ulpRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:/pulliEducation and/or Experience: Bachelors degree and/or 5 to 8 years of experience./liliSecurity Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly./liliUI Design: Proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, Java or Python programming, and visual design./liliUser Research: Experience with various research methods, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing./liliHuman Factors: Knowledge of human capabilities, limitations, and cognitive processes./liliCommunication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively and present findings./liliProblem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve usability issues and propose creative solutions./liliTechnical Skills: Experience with design tools (e.g., PenPot, Adobe Creative Cloud); Ability to work independently coding in either Java or Python./li/ulpCompensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
