Untitled Future is seeking a highly-skilled creative director to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you have a vision for capturing an idea and translating it into a reality. Youve developed inspiring creative concepts, immersive story-driven experiences, and helped a creative team flourish by instilling confidence in designers, artists and producers at each step of a process. At the same time, you have content and experience production expertise and a deep bench of creative resources to bring your work to life with quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop experiential concepts and establish creative vision for all projects from story to execution
- Leverage key insights, audience portraits and other research in creative brief and approach development
- Express creative concepts with exacting detail, bringing textures, colors, materials to them
- Facilitate development of technical build drawings for all build elements; manage fabrication process
- Draft meticulous site layouts and floor plans detailing flow and purpose with space
- Design decor layouts and source items, artisans and purveyors to procure elements
- Manage resources and project timelines, establish deliverables, proactively address roadblocks
- Establish visual language and lead design of program decks to communicate concepts and visual narrative
- Oversee onsite creative execution; managing and directing installation, onsite styling/set dressing
- Build, lead, and manage creative team as agency continues to expand its creative bench
- Continuously pitch creative work and advocate for the work of your team in client, internal and pitch meetings
- Manage resources and project timelines, establish deliverables, proactively address roadblocks
- Establish strong relationships with clients and partners as leading voice within the agency
- Proactively seek opportunities to elevate experiences and deepen client and community value
Role Requirements
- Deep understanding of experiential, brand and content creative concept and design
- Experience in architecture, industrial design and immersive experiences (or related fields)
- 3D design experience; SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite (and others)
- Robust portfolio that showcases work, process and strategy implementation
- Strong presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
- Confidence and experience leading creative production from conception to end result
- Budget, timeline, resource, scheduling, deliverable management skills
- Desire to work in a collaborative, cross-functional agency
- Superior leadership skills, with a focus on employee coaching and development
- Strong proficiency with Google Workspace/Office 365/Adobe Suite
- Extremely well-read in a wide variety of topics (both for pleasure and work)
