Plumbing Designer Job at Success Staffing Agency in Indianapolis

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Plumbing Engineer/Designer to join our dynamic team in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing safe, efficient, and sustainable plumbing systems for a variety of building projects. Experience in one of our core markets (higher education, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and government) is a plus. This role requires collaboration with architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations. Develop comprehensive designs for plumbing systems, including domestic water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater management, and gas distribution. Perform hydraulic calculations to determine flow rates, pipe sizes, pressure drops, and system performance metrics. Ensure all designs comply with local codes and regulations as well as best practices in sustainability. Registration as a Professional Engineer or Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) is a plus but not required; minimum 5 years of experience. Working knowledge of BIM/Revit is a plus. Experience in medical gas design is also a plus.
