About the role

Seeking a Senior Technical Writer to support the RMSS program at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience translating complex technical information into clear, concise documentation tailored for diverse customer audiences. This onsite role requires a Top Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical government program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for the RMSS program.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly documents for various customer audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and verify technical information.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with government security and quality standards.
  • Manage document revisions and version control using MS Office tools.
  • Support the Generative AI Division with specialized technical writing tasks.
  • Participate in security clearance processes and maintain compliance with clearance requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of professional technical writing experience.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documents.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite for document creation.
  • Active or eligible for Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite in St. Louis, MO.
  • Preferred experience supporting NGA or similar government agencies.
