We are seeking a motivated
Business Development Professional (Inside & Outside Sales)
who will manage both inside and outside sales responsibilities, guiding customers from initial inquiry through project completion with accuracy, clarity, and care.
Position Summary The Business Development Professional is responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, preparing accurate estimates, and owning projects through the full sales lifecycle. This role requires strong organization, proactive communication, and a consultative approach to sales.
The ideal candidate is structured, accountable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Experience
Demonstrate
consultative selling behaviors
by asking thoughtful questions and clarifying customer needs during estimating.
Prepare
clear, written project descriptions
with every order.
Communicate
all scope changes
to clients before work is completed.
Review proofs carefully to ensure alignment with the approved quote and customer vision.
Proactively communicate
accurate timelines , changes, and next steps to clients.
Respond to all client inquiries
within the same business day .
Project Ownership & Coordination
Take full ownership of each project from quote through completion.
Alert internal teams to special or custom materials and confirm deadlines are feasible.
Prevent rework by ensuring sales details are accurate and complete.Collaborate closely with production, design, and operations teams.
Prospecting & Growth
Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-up activities weekly.
Manage inside sales leads and perform outside sales visits as needed.
Maintain an active pipeline of new and existing opportunities.
Work Schedule & Availability
Maintain regular business hours from
8:00 AM–5:00 PM .
Be in the office unless attending scheduled appointments or site visits.
Use and maintain a shared calendar for all appointments and activities.
Performance Metrics
Minimum
70+ estimates sent per week
50+ follow-ups per week
40%+ conversion rate
(rolling 30–90 days)
10-15 new opportunities created weekly
Qualifications
5+ years of B2B sales or consultative sales experience required
Sign and printing industry experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with excellent follow-through
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Valid driver’s license (for outside sales visits)
