Project Overview :

team is creating formalized "how-to" guides for our Client's Help page. These contractors will work cross-functionally to gather legacy content, upload it, and ensure accuracy.

Job Description:

Basic purpose:

Creates necessary instructional and informational content for Client's end-user assistance program.

Collaborates on new content needs with assigned business unit , product management, project management, etc.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

* Interact closely with subject matter experts (e.g., engineers, product managers, project managers, platform owners, etc.) to effectively research content needs.

* Determine appropriate documentation and its structure to maximize content reuse.

* Develop, edit, and publish content needed for Client's end-user assistance program including (but not limited to):

* Knowledge articles that effectively communicate system-level information.

* Rebranding of Client's end-user documentation.

* Product release notes.

* Meet all content deadlines.

Other duties and responsibilities:

* Adopt the Client technical writing style guide that sets guidance for writing style and terminology in customer-facing technical documents in the development of all documents.

* Collaborate with members of the documentation specialist team and other content owners throughout Clario's content ecosystem to adopt a consistent look and feel for all deliverables that contribute to the development of high-quality, professional learning materials.

* Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Education:

* Bachelor's degree in English, communication, business administration, or technical writing.

Qualifications and skills needed:

* 3+ years' experience in a role with similar responsibilities and duties.

* Ability to quickly learn complex technical products and to distil complex concepts from a variety of sources with little to no technical specifications into clear, usable documentation.

* Strong writing skills (grammar, punctuation, form, content, structure, etc.) and attention to detail, with extensive experience developing end-user documentation for a variety of applications in multiple sectors.

* Experience functioning as a liaison between technical and functional personnel, as well as working with customers and end-users.

* Experience using MS Word, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Visio, Figma, and a variety of graphics tools.

* Experience using knowledge management tools (e.g., Confluence, Document 360, ServiceNow).

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a dynamic work environment.

* Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including teaming, verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution.

* Must have excellent research skills.

* Must be able to write technical documents that explain technical ideas or designs in simple language.

Highly Desirable:

* Experience working within a software development environment for clinical trials or the pharmaceutical industry.

* Experience working within an iterative software and hardware development environment.
