Responsibilities
Coordinate patient care and education for an assigned number of patients using the nursing process.
Assist with orientation, preceptorship, and management of personnel assigned to the unit.
Document total care, review and maintain patient charts, and accurately enter patient data, orders, and charges into the computer system.
Work up to 40 hours per week, rotating between day and night shifts (mostly night) based on unit staffing needs.
Operate within approved policies, procedures, and regulations for the department and organization.
Complete yearly mandatory education requirements and attend required sessions.
Work under the general supervision of the Ambulance Dept Head, following Pre‑Hospital and ACLS processes.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
Ability to pass the hospital pharmacology test.
Professional, non‑defensive communication skills with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors.
Willingness and ability to arrange and attend mandatory education sessions.
