Job Summary The Placement Specialist supports emergency, respite, and ongoing placement services for all children and youth served by bədaʔčəɬ. This position serves as the primary point of contact for caregivers, ensuring they receive coordinated support in alignment with Tulalip Tribal Code and best practices in kinship care. Duties include conducting home studies and background checks, providing direct case aide services such as supervised visitations and respite care, assisting caregivers in navigating systems and services, and connecting families with appropriate medical, educational, and cultural resources. This role is expected to work 4-10 hour shifts that includes weekends.

Compensation $23.25

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum Experience

One (1) year of experience providing direct services and support to families in a human services, education, healthcare, or social services setting including responsibilities such as client interaction, service delivery, coordination of services, and documentation.

One (1) year of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.

Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites

WA State Driver’s License.

Must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulation (Abstract Required).

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Terms of Employment This is a contracted position with a schedule of Friday through Monday 7:00-5:30.
