As a Structural/Bridge Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and reporting for transportation, site, and underground infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities include designing roadways, bridges, drainage systems, and utilities; preparing detailed plans; developing geometric layouts; ensuring all work meets QA/QC standards and industry requirements; managing project schedules, budgets, and resources; preparing cost estimates; mentoring junior staff; and coordinating with engineers, designers, and clients. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Civil 3D or MicroStation for creating and reviewing CAD drawings are required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
10+ years of civil engineering experience (DOT experience preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to lead complex infrastructure projects
Preferred Qualifications
Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with drainage analysis and design
Advanced skills in Civil 3D and/or MicroStation
Ability to support QA/QC and maintain project profitability
