As a Payment Processing Specialist, you help ensure each customer enjoys a positive and memorable shopping experience. Role and Responsibilities
As a Payment Processing Specialist, you will provide efficient, courteous, and accurate checkout services that reflect Lowe's commitment to customer satisfaction. Beyond processing transactions, you may assist with store upkeep, support other departments, and respond to customer needs throughout the store. Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional checkout assistance. Assist customers at self-checkout stations. Accurately scan, bag, and process purchases. Operate registers, handle payments, and process returns or exchanges. Address customer inquiries and offer support as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized checkout area. Carry out other assigned duties as required. Required Skills and Experience
Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Proficiency in using computers for data entry and retrieving information. Ability to lift at least 10 lbs unassisted or over 15 lbs with or without accommodation. Meet any state-mandated sales-related licensing or registration requirements. Preferred Qualifications
Previous retail or customer service experience. Ability to communicate in more than one language. Compensation and Benefits
