Chused & Co. is seeking a freelance interior architectural drafter to assist designers in floor plans, elevations, sketch models and presentation ready renders. This role requires a designer with exceptional technical drawing ability to produce documents efficiently. This is an in-office role with partial remote flexibility after the first phase of work. Initial commitment is one month, with potential for extension. Responsibilities
Produce high-quality 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings in AutoCAD. Develop complete drawing sets for contractor bidding and active construction. Create 3D models and renderings in SketchUp and Enscape for design presentations. Manage multiple projects at once, maintaining accuracy, speed, and clear priorities. Communicate effectively with the internal design team. Identify discrepancies, missing information, or coordination issues before they become problems. Maintain consistent drafting standards and organized file structures across all projects. Qualifications
Exceptional AutoCAD proficiency and strong rendering skills in SketchUp and Enscape. Experience producing bid sets and construction-ready documents. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to take initiative, follow direction precisely, and work with minimal oversight. Strong organizational habits and meticulous attention to detail. Comfort working in a fast-paced studio environment with shifting deadlines. About Our Company
