Packaging Designer

QPI is seeking a Packaging Designer to support the design and prototype development of packaging solutions. This hands‑on role will primarily assist the lead designer with cutting and assembling samples using CAD tools and prototyping equipment. The position is ideal for a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated individual with a background in industrial or package design.
Key Responsibilities
Cut and assemble packaging prototypes using a Kongsberg cutting table
Maintain and enter specs into the QPI database
Support the design team by completing assigned tasks on schedule
Update and manage project tracking tools (e.g., design center project list)
Adapt to workflow changes based on customer demands
Uphold company safety protocols and design quality standards
Required Qualifications
Proficient in ArtiosCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus
Strong math skills, particularly in geometry
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and in a team
Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal guidance
Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Packaging Engineering
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
