Mechanical Completions Inspector
– Ingleside, TX
Intertek, a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking a Mechanical Completions Inspector to join our Technical Inspection Services team in Ingleside, TX.
Shift/Schedule: Regular, full‑time position working at least 50 hours per week.
What you'll do
Follow processes and procedures for system completions walkdown.
Walk down completion packages and verify compliance with specifications and project documentation.
Participate in virtual systems completion walkdowns with client completions team using Microsoft Teams and virtual systems hardware.
All other duties assigned.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to walk long distances.
Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Must be able to stand for extended durations.
Must be able to reach in all directions.
Must have good visual acuity with regards to color, depth perception and field vision.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures.
Must be alert and able to determine job‑related hazards and recognize when hazards change.
Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; preferably holds current certification in Swagelok and Parker tubing fitting installation (expired certification accepted depending on experience).
Qualifications
5+ years completions package experience.
Work and communicate in a team environment.
Lift 50 pounds.
Climb, kneel and squat occasionally.
Read plans and specifications.
Prior plant experience, LNG plant preferred.
