Position Summary To create detailed drawings for the customer utilizing CAD tools. Communicate in a professional manner with customers, production and other employees to ensure accurate product fabrication.
Key Job Responsibilities
Work with customers to provide them with the correct product for their application.
Utilize CAD software to prepare requested elevations, details and schedules to submit to customer for review and approval.
Handle any special projects that are assigned.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Position Requirements
High school Diploma/GED.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Adobe.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
High energy with a sense of urgency.
Primary Physical Requirements
Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment, and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to talk and hear.
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
Required to occasionally stand and walk.
Occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 20 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Safety Equipment
Safety glasses are always required on the production floor.
Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
