Nationwide Financial is seeking a Financial Services Representative who will provide timely, efficient service for assigned products and ensure extraordinary care to internal and external customers. This role will be hired on a SuccessFlex basis and requires the associate to reside within 35 miles of Grandview, OH (1000 Yard Street, Grandview, OH 43215). Work schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote.
Key Responsibilities
Process incoming payments for Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). Handle beneficiary updates and contract‑level changes. Manage returned mail by updating records and re‑sending account statements to members. Process business requests according to government regulations, contract provisions, and internal procedures and controls. Provide outstanding quality customer service by demonstrating and understanding customer needs and emphasizing timely responses. Maintain current knowledge of contract and product provisions, administration of Nationwide products, processing systems and related federal and state regulations. Integrate lean methodology into daily interactions through problem‑solving meetings and team huddles. Consult and interpret contract provisions for current and past products and assumed business for policyholders, agents/brokers and other operating units, including routing inquiries that require an insurance or securities license. May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
High school studies (undergraduate studies desirable). Participation in technical coursework such as LOMA, CLU, ChFC is desirable. One to three years of product‑related customer service experience preferred. General knowledge of office practices, customer service, information systems and insurance/financial services industry practices (e.g., annuities, mutual funds) preferred. Effective verbal and written communication skills, basic analytical and problem resolution skills. Proven ability to research, analyze and solve problems, leveraging existing processes and procedures. Ability to understand, anticipate and proactively act on customer needs. Proven decision‑making skills necessary for customer contacts. Effective team‑building and collaboration skills. FINRA Series 6 license preferred, and may be required based on product line, with additional licenses as business evolves. Job Conditions

Associates must acquire required federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the designated timeframe. Failure to do so may result in ineligibility to continue in the position.
