We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and highly analytical
Senior SEO/AI Specialist
to join our Enterprise Website Team. This role leads the strategy and optimization of search performance across both traditional SEO and emerging AI‑driven discovery channels.
The Senior SEO & AI Specialist combines robust analytical skills, advanced technical SEO expertise, and a deep understanding of how AI models interpret and surface content. This role ensures our company’s content, products, and customer support experiences are easily discoverable, authoritative, accurately represented, and trusted by search engines, AI/LLM systems, and by customers.
You will analyze search and site behavior, identify optimization opportunities, implement structured data and content enhancements, and drive initiatives that increase visibility, relevance, and digital performance. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, hands‑on SEO execution, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across product, content, engineering, analytics, compliance, and marketing teams.
To excel in this role, you must be results‑driven, capable of leading cross‑functional initiatives, and comfortable guiding SEO and AI visibility strategies that deliver measurable improvements in visibility, qualified traffic, and digital conversions.
RESPONSIBILITIES SEO & AI Search Strategy
Lead enterprise‑wide SEO and AI discoverability strategies
Analyze behavior across SERPs, AI Overviews, SGE, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, and other generative AI platforms
Identify high‑impact opportunities to improve visibility, authority, and content relevance.
Build and manage an integrated roadmap spanning technical SEO, content, structured data, and AI readiness
Monitor algorithm and AI model updates and adjust strategy accordingly
Content Optimization & AI Readiness
Recommend improvements to enhance content clarity, authority, metadata, and alignment with user intent
Partner with content teams on page structure, semantic keywords, entity coverage, and FAQs
Ensure content is structured and formatted for reuse in generative AI systems and accurate LLM interpretation
Technical SEO & Site Health
Conduct technical audits to identify crawl, indexing, rendering, and Core Web Vitals issues
Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to implement fixes
Optimize site architecture, navigation, URL structure, and internal linking
Ensure mobile‑first, accessible, secure, and SEO‑compliant digital experiences
Structured Data & AI Enablement
Lead schema and structured data strategy across products, support, FAQs, and articles.
Test, validate, and monitor structured data performance
Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate structured content models into CMS templates
Competitive & Landscape Insights
Monitor competitor performance across organic and AI‑driven search
Identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for differentiation
Deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision‑making
Measurement, Analytics & Reporting
Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track SEO, AI visibility, and performance trends
Analyze impressions, rankings, engagement, citations, and AI Overview presence
Measure the ROI and impact of SEO and AI initiatives and guide prioritization
Governance & Cross‑Functional Alignment
Develop and enforce SEO and AI visibility guidelines, standards, and best practices
Serve as the subject‑matter expert and educate teams on evolving SEO and AI trends
Support content governance, compliance alignment, and digital quality control
Influence stakeholders through clear, data‑backed recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS
5-7 years hands‑on SEO experience with enterprise websites
Expertise optimizing for traditional SEO and AI‑driven search (AI Overviews, SGE, ChatGPT, LLMs)
Experience with platforms such as: Google Search Console, WordPress or enterprise CMS, GA4, Heap, or similar analytics tools
Strong technical SEO knowledge: crawlability, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, on‑page optimization, structured data/schema
Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SimilarWeb)
Experience with structured content models and entity‑based SEO
Background in regulated or compliance‑driven industries
Familiarity with CRO, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks
Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and UX best practices
Experience supporting enterprise SEO and digital governance frameworks
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent verbal and written communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and governance
Strong cross‑functional collaboration, influence, and stakeholder management
Forward‑thinking mindset with a passion for emerging AI and search technologies
Ability to drive change, influence adoption of new practices, and challenge legacy approaches

SALARY RANGE The pay range for this position is $87,000 to $116,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
