JOIN OUR TEAM We are looking for a Senior Art Director who brings bold ideas, sharp visual instinct and fast, high-quality execution. You have a love for interiors, a deep understanding of creative culture, and know how to make content matter, especially on social. In this role, you will lead visual storytelling for brand and product campaigns, guide shoots from concept to delivery, and help shape Westwing’s evolving creative direction. This position is unlimited and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop strong visual concepts for campaigns, product storytelling, social content and brand moments
Translate abstract ideas into clear creative direction from moodboards and storyboards to layout references and shot lists
Lead photo and video shoots end to end, including casting, set direction, music research and edit supervision
Ensure a high visual standard across all channels with a strong focus on relevance and impact in social media
Work closely with production, styling and content teams to bring ideas to life with consistency and excellence
Partner with copywriters, producers, stylists, editors and graphic designers to create cohesive Tcx and compi creative work
Contribute to evolving SchemaWestwing’s visual identity and push it forward every day
YOU COME WITH
5 to 8+ years of experience, ideally in a brand, creative agency or production environment, with a preference for backgrounds in premium, lifestyle or design‑led brands
A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, art direction and photography knowledge
A deep understanding of visual culture, creative trends and how ideas move through social platforms
Hands‑on experience working across photo and video formats
The ability to work quickly without compromising quality or creative integrity
Strong communication and collaboration skills; you think with the team and with production
Fluency in English
