Job Overview We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through visual media. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality videos that align with our brand's aesthetic and vision.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into high-quality videos that meet our brand's standards and guidelines
Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts
Utilize industry-standard software and equipment to edit and enhance video content
Ensure all videos are delivered on time and within budget
Continuously seek out new and innovative editing techniques to improve the quality of our videos
Work closely with the production team to ensure all footage is captured correctly and meets the required specifications
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in film, media, or a related field
3+ years of experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid
Strong understanding of color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics
Excellent storytelling and visual storytelling skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work is required
