Regional Sales Manager
Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (Ruskin subsidiary) is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to provide consultative support to independent representatives in the West Coast territory. The role focuses on fostering strong relationships, offering strategic guidance, and ensuring exceptional customer service rather than direct team management.
What You’ll Do
Consultative Sales Support: Act as a trusted advisor to independent representatives, providing insights and recommendations to optimize their sales performance.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Market Analysis & Strategy: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies within the region.
Sales Enablement: Provide training, resources, and strategic guidance to independent representatives to enhance their effectiveness.
Problem‑Solving & Conflict Resolution: Address challenges faced by independent representatives and clients, offering solutions that align with business objectives.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and provide actionable insights to improve regional sales outcomes.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between company goals and independent representatives’ strategies.
Customer Service Excellence: Serve as a point of escalation for customer concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Territory Management: Travel within the region to meet with independent representatives and key clients, strengthening relationships and identifying new opportunities.
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Business Management; or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sales management, consultative sales, or related role, including at least 2 years within HVAC industry, preferably rooftop accessory or air distribution market.
Strong consultative sales and advisory skills.
Excellent customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM and sales tracking tools.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and drive innovation.
Willingness to travel up to 60% of time.
Work Environment The work environment is primarily in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a climate‑controlled atmosphere designed for productivity. There will be opportunities to visit labs, customer sites, or plants for meetings or collaboration.
