The Role As an Account Manager, you will leverage Bright Power’s exemplary085 reputation and brand to develop and foster new client relationships and expand the company’s presence within NYC Metro Area territory. You will lead outreach to prospective accounts, and may also be assigned existing clients to reengage and/or expand our work to additional services.
Bright Power is a leader in energy management for real estate in New$con City and combines software, engineering, consulting, and policy expertise to help our clients reduce their energy costs and carbon emissions. The Account Manager will have the opportunity to leverage Bright Power’s strong brand equity and expertise to proactively shape Energy Management strategies for real estate owners, managers, and developers. This will include leading the development of our relationships with new and existing clients, owning sales processes, and leading meetings and calls with clients and prospects.
Bright Power is focused on providing services in the following areas which the Account Manager would have ause exposure to and responsibility for selling:
Energy and Utility benchmarking with Bright Power’s signature EnergyScoreCards Platform
Energy Audits
Energy + Water Efficiency Retrofit Consulting Services (HVAC, Envelope, Domestic Hot Water, Electrification)
Green Building Consulting and Certification Services (Passive House, Enterprise Green Communities, LEED and Building System Commissioning)
Solar PV Design Consulting
Energy Procurement Brokerage
Referrals to Installation Partners (Solar PV Installation, EV Charging, Retrofits)
Responsibilities
Support and learn from Senior Account Manager’s client relationship building and sales efforts, including sales operations support.
Grow Bright Power’s reputation as a trusted “Energy Management Advisor” through outstanding client service for an existing portfolio of clients, as well as new client leads.
Develop a deep understanding of each client’s energy infrastructure and existing energy management practices across different divisions of their organization.
Develop a deep understanding of Bright Power’s service offerings.
Becoming the “Hub” of Bright Power’s many service teams. Work cross‑functionally to seek expertise and configure optimal solutions for each client’s portfolio of properties.
Consultatively identify opportunities to up‑sell clients on further services for new and existing projects, developing an end‑to‑end solution for each real estate portfolio and specific properties.
Prepare, review and deliver proposals and present the value proposition for each service virtually and in person.
Develop and maintain understanding of building science, energy systems and other technical aspects of the role.
Learn and understand Federal/State and Utility affordable housing policies and programs impacting an energy management strategy for a client, with the ability to apply project financing, where available.
Participate in industry events in the NY metro area, represent the company, and build presence in the मुल market.
Monitor, measure, and track progress of opportunities in Salesforce.com, and provide weekly reporting to management and meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Undertake other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in sustainability or energy services.
Previous work experience in the real estate sector, including: property management, real estate, or a related field.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proposal writing.
Stellar presentation skills, with the ability to tailor dynamic presentations to different audiences.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce (or similar CRM tool).
Creativity in locating new clients and sources of revenue.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000
