$13.00 an hour
Responsibilities
Maintain positive relations with visitors, being courteous, respectful, and exercising flexibility to best serve the public during all work activities.
Prepare for public programs/presentations and exhibitions/displays relating to the site's mission statement. Provide tours through the historic home and provide information on the site history.
Perform museum duties, including cash register operation, securing and processing revenue according to policy and procedure, taking inventory and stocking museum store merchandise.
Conduct maintenance tasks in assigned work areas, including inspection of structures and grounds. Work activities include contributing to a safe, secure, clean, and orderly environment for the public and staff. Cleaning of the historic home and museum building and attached porches, cleaning all site public restrooms, cleaning ranch outbuildings (blacksmith shop, big barn, log cabin, observation tower).
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Must be able to work weekends.
