Job Summary As the Distributor Account Manager you will be responsible for managing, driving and supporting authorized Distributors to sell company products and services in Italy. You will be the representative of Fluke to these resellers with the objective of maximizing revenue, securing partner engagement and ensuring end-customer satisfaction.
Roles And Responsibilities
Achieving annual sales objectives.
Regularly (weekly/monthly and as required) report against defined objectives to Sales Manager Italy or other internal stakeholders, completing reporting accurately and on time.
Accurately forecast revenue and use and update distributor monitoring dashboards.
Work in teams, performing sales, service, and administrative tasks and procedures under self‑direction.
Maintain broad knowledge of the organization’s entire product line, attending relevant trade shows and other significant market events.
Work closely with Italian representative agencies, providing them technical and commercial support, training and managing them to achieve area targets.
Provide technical and commercial assistance to the Italian Distributors on Fluke’s products (store‑promo days, trainings to distributor salesforce, demonstrations to final customers, etc.).
Support the introduction of new products to distributors.
Provide feedback on application data, competitor products, and/or sales tools.
Define distribution account targets and cooperative action plans to generate revenue growth.
Define and monitor action plans for the distributor accounts assigned.
Be responsible for defining and implementing cooperative marketing activities of the assigned distributors.
Monitor distributor stock levels to guarantee high service levels to final customers.
Follow up and support the distributor sales team on relevant projects.
Your Team The Italian team is integrated into the EMEA Channel Sales, made up of a diverse team from all the EMEA region. Currently the Italian team consists of 1 Channel Sales Manager and 3 Field Salesmen (Key account/Technical sales) spread across the Italian territory. The team shares common values on high performance, setting high expectations, work ethics, compliance and integrity, knowledge sharing among the regions, and helping each other out to achieve the EMEA goals.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in technical product sales.
Experience in distribution management for technical sales.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electrotechnical engineering or equivalent.
Commercial capabilities in selling solutions and standard products to customers.
Hands‑on experience working with test & measurement or related products.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use technical product software.
Job Conditions
Frequent travel throughout Italian territory.
Residence preferably in north Italy.
Working in the home office.
Company car and IT equipment provided.
