Position Overview:
This internship is a part-time paid position. The hours for this position are flexible (within Monday-Friday 9am-5pm), and are meant to complement a student’s school hours, homework, and time. We estimate the general amount of time that should be allotted per week (at start of hire) for this position would be around 10-15 hours. The position will teach the basics of Multiple Listing Service platforms, essential marketing tactics, and what it takes to provide the best service possible within the emerging real estate markets. The more that you work, the more knowledge you will gain, experiences you will have, and more you will pull from this position.
Position Requirements:
Basic Computer Skills
Familiarity with the Essentials of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
Reliable Transportation to and from work
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Be willing and able to work on essential projects alone and in teams
Have a desire to conduct meaningful research in ways that benefit the company
Good written and verbal communication
Organization and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and take initiative
Must be 18+
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have completed or be in the process of obtaining a college degree
Essential Functions: Commercial Real Estate is a competitive sector within the market. Marketing is the link between average, and what sets companies apart from their competition. The position is flexible in some areas, and straight forward in other areas. Here are some of the tasks you may encounter throughout the day:
Answering calls, emails, and other essential business functions
Track new developments, major transactions, and shifts in local submarkets.
Summarize findings in reports or presentations for review
Assist with general marketing tactics and property marketing brochures
Learn to list properties on various sites
Update and maintain property databases, and ensure the accuracy of listings.
Going to properties to drop off/pick up keys, signs, lockboxes, etc.
Create social media posts for our weekly newsletters
Generate and send out email campaigns to prospects
