This
Business Banking Support Specialist
is responsible for customer service and teller duties, including account opening and maintenance, teller operations, and relationship management. This role is critical to the smooth functioning of the business branch, offering a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational responsibilities that provide a rewarding and dynamic work environment.

What will you be doing in this role?
Operating a teller window to serve the Bank's customers by processing a variety of transactions with minimal errors. This includes, but is not limited to, accepting deposit and withdrawal requests, loan payments, verifying cash and customer signatures, identifying customers appropriately, and maintaining and balancing a cash drawer within established limits and guidelines.
Opening new accounts, certificates of deposit, and other products offered by the Bank. Answering customer questions, providing account opening information, and ensuring that proper paperwork is completed and entered on the computer system.
Assists in preparing reports for business branch performance, audits, and compliance purposes. Addresses discrepancies in transaction records or balancing issues promptly.
Assists with branch initiatives and special projects led by commercial and credit management.
Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent required. Associate's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
Six (6) months of previous experience in banking, customer service or retail or equivalent as demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, or education. Prior Teller experience and basic knowledge of banking products and services, banking regulations, and industry standards preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
To be a well-organized, detail-oriented, problem‑solver who shows strong initiative and learns and works quickly and accurately with minimal supervision.
Proven customer service and problem resolution skills.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with ability to understand and carry out instructions, produce reports, organize information, speak clearly and effectively communicate information to customers, peers and management.
