We’re seeking a Plumbing Designer or Engineer to join our growing Mechanical team and collaborate on projects spanning healthcare, science & technology, cultural institutions, corporate campuses, and infrastructure.
What You’ll Do Design plumbing systems—including domestic water, sanitary waste/vent, medical gas, storm drainage, and specialty systems—throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate across disciplines from concept through construction; contribute to technical documentation, specifications, and code compliance; leverage BIM/Revit and other digital tools to develop coordinated designs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field (desired).
Experience in plumbing design or engineering, with consulting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of applicable codes and industry best practices.
Familiarity with Revit and engineering design tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to calculate building loads, select equipment, layout piping, and produce project specifications.
Experience resolving complex design challenges and ensuring drawings comply with local codes.
Requirements & Responsibilities Personal responsibilities include designing plumbing, calculating building loads for all systems, selecting equipment, arranging piping layouts, creating and editing project details, and drafting engineering specifications. Participate in design review meetings, workshops, and coordinate with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
