Job Overview The CRM Performance Specialist leads the financial planning and analysis efforts for the Macy’s CRM communications. This role requires a strong financial acumen and analytical skills to drive financial reporting initiatives that support the overall business objectives. They collaborate with cross‑functional departments, including Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management & Product Analytics, and Finance. By leveraging financial insights, they play a crucial role in optimizing digital strategies. Essential Functions What You Will Do

Lead the execution of financial plans for outbound communications, focusing on key performance indicators like conversion rates, units‑per‑transaction, and funnel metrics.

Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Conduct monthly forecasting, ensuring timely updates of financial projections based on current business trends and performance metrics to drive business results and enhance profitability.

Generate and analyze financial reports on conversion, units‑per‑transaction, and other key golden equation metrics.

Utilize advanced financial planning tools and software to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Present financial analysis and insights to senior management and cross‑functional teams.

Work closely with Merchandising, Marketing, Product Management & Product Analytics, and Finance teams to align financial plans with promotional events, tactics investments, and other key initiatives.

Communicate financial performance and insights effectively to stakeholders across the organization.

Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial planning and analysis processes.

Implement best practices and new technologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and financial performance.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial planning operations.

Skills You Will Need

Financial Acumen:

Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis principles with expertise in forecasting and budgeting.

Analytical Skills:

Proficiency in analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights.

Collaboration:

Experience working with cross‑functional teams to align financial plans with business strategies.

Communication:

Strong skills in presenting financial analysis and insights clearly to senior management and stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in using advanced financial planning and data analysis tools and software.

Aptitude for identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline financial planning and analysis processes.

Meticulous attention to detail in financial analysis, ensuring accuracy in projections and reports.

Strong problem‑solving skills to address financial performance issues and improve profitability.

Qualifications and Competencies Education Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree from a 4‑year college or university

Years of Experience

Prior experience in reporting and analytics
