Manager Sales Operations . This position drives efficiency, scalability, and performance within the sales organization and supports customer success. Responsibilities include optimizing sales processes, managing data and reporting, supporting strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between sales, operations and customer success teams, and administering the CRM database.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and continuously improve sales workflows, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and customer experience.
Own and maintain the Salesforce CRM for compliance and data integrity, ensuring the database is configured and utilized by the sales team.
Create and deliver Salesforce reporting for weekly, quarterly, and annual presentations and meetings.
Maintain accurate sales data and pipeline metrics; develop dashboards and reports for leadership visibility.
Analyze trends, forecast revenue, and provide actionable insights to support decision‑making.
Act as liaison between sales, operations, finance, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution of deals and service delivery.
Implement and execute the RFP process for all RFI/RFP opportunities to ensure visibility and compliance for large‑scale and new sales ventures.
Support pricing strategies, contract management, and compliance with company policies.
Support and maintain lead generation of prospects for assignment, qualification and communication.
Monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, average deal size, and sales cycle length; recommend improvements.
Manage and optimize the sales technology stack, including CRM, analytics tools, and automation platforms.
Train sales teams on tools and processes to maximize adoption and efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sales operations.
Strong understanding of supply chain and freight management processes.
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and data analytics tools (Power BI, Excel).
Experience with or certification as a Salesforce Administrator or similar certification.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
Strong analytical skills and experience in enabling sales teams to achieve revenue goals.
Preferred Skills
Experience with pricing models and lead generation.
Experience in logistics, transportation, or 3PL industry.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to gather data from multiple sources and manage projects to drive results.
Demonstrated time‑management and organizational skills, overall responsiveness.
