Constructability Specialist at HDR

From highways and bridges to water treatment plants, transit systems, and power facilities, your work ensures our clients’ visions become reality, with precision, integrity, and excellence.
Responsibilities
Perform constructability and biddability reviews.
Perform field reviews for mainline and expansion projects.
Perform detailed traffic control analyses of each proposed phase.
Review construction schedules to assist managers with recommendations for resolution of issues.
Conduct initial utility coordination prior to construction.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
Florida DOT or Florida Turnpike experience.
Roadway construction experience highly desired.
Ability to problem‑solve and provide possible solutions to the engineer.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
Fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents.
Team‑working ability.
Computer literate; experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
