GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB The Market Segment Manager plans, develops and coordinates the strategic and tactical marketing plans for assigned market segments. This Manager ensures that strategies are consistent with the overall objectives for SCS in maximizing market share and profitability and also determines feasibility of existing and new markets. This Manager will lead SCS into those identified marketsischun global basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILIES

Manages SCS' submarket programs to ensure market opportunities are strategically assessed, developed and managed through commercialization efforts.

Targets accounts and works with Sales Team in the development of the relationship and collaborates in the sale to the customer.

Actively engage in the SCS' strategic planning process to recommend new business pursuits, R$D project, or capability and geographic expansion.

Researches, conducts feasibility studies and recommends global strategies and plans to enhance vertical markets for SCS products and services.

Determines new markets to compete in and prioritizes product opportunities to maximize sales and profits.

Collaborates with the SCS' Global Sales Team in preparation and management of market‑specific customer budgets.

Develops product presentations for current and new products and markets.

Provides market‑specific training to SCS' Global Sales Teams.

Communicates strategies and market activities to members of Sales, Operations, Engineering, R&D and Senior Management. Establishes excellent working relationships with all SCS personnel.

Collaborates with Marketing Communications in the development and execution of market‑specific communication programs, trade shows and technical symposiums.

Travels domestically belirtand internationally, approximately 25% – 30% of the time.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILIES

Stays abreast of changes and developments in the field through training, reading, researching, classes and seminars, and discussions with othersεί.

Prepares, publishes and presents technical papers.

May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/inng EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or closely related curriculum with a minimum of seven years product/market experience and/or training.

Prior strategic management experience of at least two years. Two to four years of previous management experience preferred.

BASIC SKILLS

Possesses well‑developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Is able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.

Is able to write reports, business correspondence and white papers.

Is able to effectively present information clearly and convincingly to individuals and/or groups of managers, clients or customers.

Has proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word software.

Possesses the ability to manage resources and multiple priorities and must be able to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization as well as customers.

Is able to achieve compromises between groups by bringing clarity to complex or complicated problems.

Possesses strong analytical and technical skills. Has ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Is adept with maintaining communications with Sales Team and other disciplines in order to support customer focus and acompanhado operations.

Possesses U.S. passport and valid U.S. driver's license.
