Construction Foreman
We're seeking a skilled Construction Foreman to lead field operations on heavy civil construction projects. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record supervising crews in grading, excavation, underground utilities, and concrete or roadway work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate field crews to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications
- Plan daily activities, allocate labor and equipment, and ensure schedules are met
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
- Monitor quality control and enforce safety standards on-site
- Track materials, equipment, and daily progress reports
- Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical, cost-effective solutions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, including at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, utilities, and/or concrete structures
- Ability to lead and motivate field crews while maintaining productivity and morale
- Understanding of construction plans, specifications, and job costing
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
