Join WVVA, a Gray Local Media station in Bluefield, WV, as a Media Executive. We're seeking a motivated, competitive, and goal-driven sales professional who excels at building relationships and delivering strategic multimedia marketing solutions.
In this position, you will be part of a high-performing team that values training, development, and the latest sales and research technology. We invest in our people providing training across TV sales, digital solutions, and new business development to help you grow and succeed.
As a Media Executive, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, craft compelling advertising solutions, and guide clients through campaign implementation to help them grow. This is a customer-focused outside sales role.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Develop creative, results-driven advertising and multimedia marketing campaigns for local businesses.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new local and digital advertising accounts.
- Present integrated media plans and solutions tailored to client goals.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and participate fully in Gray Media's training programs.
- Maintain accurate client records and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confident presentation ability.
- Proven customer service orientation and self-starter mentality.
- Comfortable with technology and basic computer applications.
- Outside sales experience is a plus.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check.
