Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with strategic OEMs, machine builders, robotics companies, and automation integrators in the USA.

Establish strong connections with technical, purchasing, R&D, and management-level stakeholders.

Understand customer product strategies, technology trends, and application roadmaps.

Maintain an annual account plan with clear revenue targets, project pipelines, and strategic initiatives.

Solution-Based Selling & Opportunity Development

Promote our portfolio: servo drives, servo motors, HMIs, PLCs, VFDs, motion controllers, and complete automation solutions.

Identify customer technical pain points and match them with appropriate products or custom solutions.

Lead customer discussions on requirements, specification alignment, integration feasibility, and solution advantages.

Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and value-driven business cases in collaboration with China-based engineering teams.

OEM/ODM Project Engagement

Support OEM/ODM inquiries, prototype introduction, and new product development opportunities.

Coordinate communication between the customer and headquarters across R&D, engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams.

Track project progress, ensure timely deliveries of samples, manage validation activities, and follow through mass-production transitions.

Work with the customer to build long-term agreements, framework contracts, and collaborative business models.

Analyze competitor products, pricing, go-to-market strategies, and channel structures.

Understand technology trends in robotics, motion control, material handling, and industrial automation.

Provide detailed market feedback to headquarters to influence product direction and R&D planning.

Internal Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with the GM, regional sales, technical support, and application engineers to drive customer success.

Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasting, project tracking, and monthly business reports.

Ensure customer technical issues are escalated and resolved promptly with support from China teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in key account sales, solution selling, or business development in industrial automation, robotics, motion control, or related sectors.
  • Experience working with OEMs, machine builders, integrators, or component manufacturers (servo/motor/PLC/HMI/VFD preferred).
  • Proven track record of handling long sales cycles and managing multi-stakeholder B2B technical projects.
  • Good understanding of servo drives, motors, PLC/HMI systems, VFDs, fieldbus (EtherCAT/CANopen), motion control, or automation equipment.
  • Ability to discuss technical requirements and applications with engineers and R&D teams.
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams to turn customer feedback into technical specifications.
  • Strong capability in managing high-value OEM accounts and developing multi-year strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create structured account plans, forecasts, and sales pipelines.
  • Strong interpersonal communication across multicultural teams.
  • Willing to travel frequently within the US and occasionally to China for training.
  • Highly self-driven, result-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-growing overseas organization.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to work independently.
