Traveling Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction projects across multiple locations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable traveling extensively to support project needs. Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Maintain project schedules and coordinate with project managers Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and workmanship Resolve on-site issues and proactively address project challenges Communicate progress, delays, and concerns to project leadership Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial and/or industrial construction Willingness and ability to travel extensively (often 100%) Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices Proven leadership and team management skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities OSHA certification preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Per diem and travel accommodations provided Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
