Executive Administrative Assistant

CNN is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide a full range of administrative support for the SVP of Brand Marketing, VP of Brand Marketing, and VP of Events. This is a perfect role for an individual who is passionate about the dynamic news industry and has a keen interest in marketing. This support includes, but is not limited to, strategic time management and organization of executives' calendars, arranging travel, greeting and escorting guests, collaborating with other executive administrative assistants, scheduling meetings, coordinating meeting agendas, preparing and processing expense reports, answering and screening calls, and maintaining office supplies. This individual must be proactive and able to prioritize while managing demanding, ever-changing calendars. This role will also provide in-office support to the office of the CMO of US Networks and News. The Executive Administrative Assistant will serve as the strategic right-hand to senior marketing leadersensuring their time, communication, and priorities are seamlessly managed and proactively anticipated. This is a fast-paced role that requires superior organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects at once. Attention to detail is key to this role, and the candidate must be flexible to handle requests off-hours and travel as necessary. Your Role Accountabilities

Client Support

60% Serves as a proactive partner to the executives by providing a full range of administrative support. This individual must be proactive and able to prioritize while managing a demanding, ever-changing calendar. Maintain Outlook calendar and schedule meetings for the executive. This individual must be able to effectively coordinate the Executive's schedule and all other necessary parties to ensure meetings and presentations are executed seamlessly. A strong attention to detail is required. Arrange Travel & Manage Expenses

15% Arrange travel for executives while adhering to the corporate expense and travel policies. Individual must be proactive and able to prioritize while juggling ever-changing needs and a demanding production environment. Submit expenses in Concur for executive clients in a timely manner. Support to CMO, US Nets and News

5% Provide in-office support to the CMO of US Nets and News as needed in partnership with an offsite EA, with a focus on arranging meeting locations and logistics in the New York office. Ad Hoc Projects

20% May be assigned ad-hoc projects or duties to support the executives or CNN Marketing as needed including staffing CNN's events. Qualifications & Experience...

Bachelor's degree is preferred. 3+ years' experience supporting a senior level/executive preferred. Experience in media, news, marketing, events, digital, politics, and/or entertainment industry preferred. Must be proficient in Apple Keynote and the MS Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and comfortable with multiple digital communication tools, including Slack. Strong attention to detail is required. Communication is key in this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Requires a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion. You should be extremely organized and work efficiently in a very fast-paced environment. A high-performer in this role will demonstrate an ability to proactively anticipate and prioritize your work so you can handle many projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, while expertly navigating the constant demands of an executive office. You should have excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team. Be flexible, dependable, and results oriented. Must possess excellent customer service skills. The candidate must be able to work with executives and high-profile talent with ease. Must be willing to be on-call off hours, reachable by mobile phone, and travel as necessary. Warner Bros. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $59,507.00 - $110,512.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
