Sales Representative in Savannah, GA
The Sales Representative will promote, sell, and work in all new distribution items available from Georgia Crown. Responsibilities include: Regularly calling on established accounts within a specific territory. Having overall product knowledge and maintaining a positive and mutual product relationship with the account and buyer. Achieving and maintaining optimum store conditions. Promoting monthly programs and pricing, keeping up with market trends, and being aware of competitive activities. Understanding Georgia Crown's policies and procedures, keeping accurate account records, and working accounts within the applicable delivery schedules. Being accurate in taking and placing orders and assisting in collecting and dealing with special situations. Communicating with suppliers in promoting, distributing, and building their brands. Being on time to all meetings, dressed appropriately, and prepared to participate actively. Following the daily itinerary and seeing all accounts on the itinerary, prepared with route book, deal sheets, pens, contracts, every day deals, and box cutter. Qualifications include: At least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED equivalent required, college degree preferred. 6 months previous sales or bar/restaurant experience required. Sales-oriented, self-motivated, task-driven, adaptable to change, and good negotiator. Good people skills, willingness to take direction, and ability to accept constructive criticism. Ability to lift 40lbs. Good oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of basic computer applications (word, outlook, excel). Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematical, organizational, and time management skills. Licensable under guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations. Reliable transportation and ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations. Valid GA Drivers License. Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment. Background checks (i.e. Police backgrounds, reference checks). Drug free workplace. EOE. Motor vehicle record will be pulled to establish employment eligibility. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record: Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph). Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years. Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years.
