Buy and sell foreign currency in accordance with company policies and exchange rates Accurately count, verify, and handle U.S. and foreign currency Balance the cash drawer daily and report discrepancies Verify customer identification and comply with AML, KYC, and other regulatory requirements Provide professional and efficient customer service Maintain a clean and secure work area Follow all security and loss-prevention procedures Responsibilities
Currency Exchange: Facilitate the buying and selling of various currencies for customers, ensuring accurate conversions based on current exchange rates. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, explaining exchange rates, and assisting customers with their currency needs. Transaction Accuracy: Ensure all transactions are processed accurately, maintaining detailed records of exchanges and verifying the validity of currency. Market Awareness: Stay updated on current exchange rates and market trends to offer competitive rates and informed advice to customers. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements related to currency exchange, including customer identification and reporting suspicious transactions. Financial Products: In some roles, provide additional financial services such as selling traveler's checks, prepaid cards, or facilitating international money transfers. Qualifications
Must successfully pass a ten-year background and employment check. Must submit to and pass a Drug screen and Fingerprints. Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. Must be able to pass SFO background and obtain an SFO badge through the badging program at SFO Previous retail, cash handling, and/or banking experience is a plus.
