Insurance Coverage Litigation

gpac (The #1 Recruiting Firm in the Nation) is partnering with a well-established law firm representing individual and corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes to identify a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support its litigation team. This role is designed as fully in-office for the first six months, followed by eligibility for a hybrid work schedule based on performance and team needs. The Legal Secretary will provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, including disputes involving commercial policies, professional liability, property damage, and complex insurance claims. Responsibilities Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence File documents electronically in state and federal courts Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court appearances Coordinate depositions, hearings, and mediations Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Assist with billing, time entry, and administrative reporting Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a legal secretary or legal administrative assistant in a litigation environment Experience supporting attorneys in insurance coverage, insurance defense, or complex civil litigation preferred Strong knowledge of court filing procedures and litigation workflows Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Practice Areas You Will Support Insurance coverage litigation Bad faith and complex insurance disputes Commercial insurance claims Policyholder representation If you're a skilled legal professional ready for a new challenge, reach out to Chad Calcaterra at gpac or send your resume directly for confidential consideration.
