Senior System Administrator

Our client, Dotcom Team, LLC, is seeking a Senior System Administrator. The role focuses on infrastructure ownership, performance, and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Act as the service owner for systems infrastructure, managing escalated tickets and complex issues.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory (maintenance, reliability, access, policies).
• Support and manage Linux systems.
• Maintain and support Azure cloud infrastructure (primary cloud platform), with some AWS exposure.
• Support data center operations, including virtualization (VMware transitioning to Nutanix, approximately 250 VMs).
• Provide limited but critical network support, including firewalls, switches, and SD?WAN.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of IT on infrastructure planning and execution.
• Participate in infrastructure improvements, stability initiatives, and modernization efforts.

Job Description / Qualifications

• Senior Systems Administrator or Team Lead background.
• Strong Active Directory and Linux experience.
• Hands?on Azure cloud experience.
• Comfortable acting as an escalation point and technical service owner.
• Data center?focused mindset (not a pure network engineer).

Must Have

• Active Directory strong hands?on administration and maintenance.
• Linux production support and administration experience.
• Azure hands?on experience supporting cloud infrastructure.
• Virtualization VMware (Nutanix, nice to have).
• Networking experience, including firewalls, switches, and SD?WAN (approximately 25% of the role).
