Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Healthcare Leadership Role
Location: Pawling, NY
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site Salary: $65,000+ based on experience
About the Opportunity The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a
Human Resources Director
to lead day-to-day HR operations at one of our skilled nursing facilities located near Brewster, NY. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys being hands-on with employees and leadership alike.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead all onsite human resources functions for a skilled nursing facility
Partner with department heads to support staffing, employee relations, and retention
Credentialing and onboarding new hires per NYS requirements
Administer payroll, benefits, and data accurately and confidentially
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and NYS Department of Health regulations
Support performance management, coaching, and corrective action processes
Maintain employee files, reports, and HR documentation
Serve as a visible, approachable HR presence for staff and leadership
What We’re Looking For
Prior HR experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
Working knowledge of employment law, labor compliance, and HR best practices
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Experience with payroll and benefits administration preferred

Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Starting at $65,000+ (based on experience)
