AutoCAD Drafter
We areseeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to support our project teams by producing accurate construction drawings and documentation. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, a solid understanding of construction drawings, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and revise construction drawings using AutoCAD * Develop shop drawings, details, and as-built drawings * Interpret sketches, redlines, specifications, and field information * Coordinate drawing updates based on RFIs, change orders, and site conditions * Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project requirements, and applicable codes * Assist with permit submittals and construction documentation packages * Maintain organized drawing files and version control * Collaborate with internal teams to meet project schedules and deadlines
Required Qualifications
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required) * Ability to read and interpret construction and architectural drawings * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Good communication and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD, or related field * Experience in construction, roofing, architectural, or engineering drafting * Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, or other CAD/BIM tools * Knowledge of construction methods and building codes
