Summary The Cultivation Lead reports directly to the Supervisor of Cultivation and is responsible for all daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities
Instructing Cultivation Agents on cultivation operation procedures;
Instructing cultivation agents to apply organic pesticides with guidance from cultivation consultants;
Maintaining inventory of all cultivation supplies and order such supplies;
Coordinating with Director of Cultivation regarding harvest schedules based on dispensary sales trends, and supply needs;
Programming and monitoring Environmental Control System;
Maintaining a database of environmental controls and conditions;
Adjusting Environmental Control System for optimum efficiency of operation; and
Providing pesticide recommendations and ensure Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program is sufficient.
Implementing policies and procedures for the Cultivation facility
Reviewing Communication Binder for current information and updates.
Executing and enforcing compliance of all local and state regulations.
Maintaining accountability of all team members in relation to specific job descriptions.
Upholding all company policies and procedures.
Ensuring that all maintenance is current, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and technology
Training & Development
Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring cultivation team agents.
Making sure that all team members are current on product knowledge and can train their teams.
Attending monthly management team meetings.
Attending quarterly team meetings.
Driving Business/Sales
Ensuring that cultivation is producing sufficient flowers to meet the needs of MIPs and extractions.
Producing quality product free of pests and contaminants.
Company Culture
Being a company brand ambassador and training team members to represent the brand appropriately.
Following and implementing the company’s core values, including respect, diversity, sustainability, research and service.
Ensuring that all team members are adhering to company cultural principles.
Controlling & Preventing Loss
Having all team members train with Director of Security for prevention of diversion of cash and/or product.
Conducting random audits of cash and/or product, for each department, using audit checklist.
Ensuring that all departments are conducting self-compliance audit monthly.
Reviewing security procedures and protocols with management team, for each department.
Reviewing incident reporting with management team.
Overseeing monthly product inventory for each department.
Reviewing Loss Prevention (LP) procedures with managers on a quarterly basis.
Qualifications and Education
Must be 21 years old.
3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory position, managing a diverse team
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience in retail, hospitality, or patient services, preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills
Being able to work with a team
Organizational skills.

Analytical skills
Being detail oriented
Being proactive
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day and rotating shifts;
Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays;
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds;
Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day;
Ability to stand for extended periods of time;
Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs;
Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
General office environment;
Extended computer usage;
Extended phone usage including teleconferences, and
Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
Pay Rate: $21.75/hr
