Job DescriptionMITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer offering a leading portfolio of brands for the new-construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors, and PGTI, is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country.We are looking for a Credit Associate for our Tacoma, WA office. You will be responsible for extending credit and collecting Accounts Receivable, including the consistent application of company credit policy, periodic reviews of existing customers, and assessments of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.Pay Range:
$ - $ per hour based on experience and qualificationsResponsibilities:Customer account managementExtending credit within company parameters and credit policyEstablishing relations – providing a high level of service to the sales team and other internal customersReleasing orders on-holdCommunicating with sales staff and the Credit Manager on issuesPreserving good will of customersMaintaining records – communication notes and follow-up Contacting customers regarding past due balancesCustomer invoice/payment issuesReconcile customer statements/billingsEmail customer requested invoice copiesCustomers write-offsDetermine accounts with potential bad debt to be communicated with the Credit Manager and written off with approvalQualifications: 3-5 years of experience in the credit and collections field or related areaFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and proceduresKnowledge of credit and collection terms and concepts, and basic accounting conceptsRely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goalsPositive can-do attitude with a team player mentalityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWell organized and pays attention to detailsExperience with ERP Software preferred (especially experience with Oracle)Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe)What We OfferOur benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
