As an Engineering Supervisor, Feature Calibration, you will oversee the development and calibration of advanced vehicle features that directly impact the driving experience. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration across multiple engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of powertrain and driver assistance technologies. You will champion innovation, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to optimize calibration processes and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities In this position...

Lead a team of engineers in developing Driver Demand and Selectable Drive Mode calibrations to meet performance feel targets.

Oversee calibration development for advanced Driver Assistance Technologies (e.g., Cruise Control, Adjustable Speed Limiter, Auto Hitch, Trailer Backup Assist, Park Assist, Smart Acceleration Truncation), Powertrain Limiting and Protection, and Park by Wire.

Drive development and maintenance of analytical tools, calibration guides, and verification/validation methods; champion innovative techniques including AI/ML tools.

Collaborate with Controls Software teams to develop new software for features under scope.

Work cross-functionally with Vehicle Energy Management Engineering and Driver Assist Applications/Development teams to ensure coordinated calibrations.

What you’ll do...

Provide technical assistance for investigations involving covered features and resolve driving issues.

Promote calibration commonality across powerpack applications.

Review and approve as appropriate powertrain limiting and protection parameter restriction bypass requests.

Review and sign off on relevant sections of the Owner’s Manual (e.g., Base Cruise Control).

Perform supervisory duties including objective setting, check-ins, performance reviews, and compensation planning.

Qualifications You’ll have...

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of progressive engineering experience in vehicle performance, drivability, or powertrain calibration.

Expertise in powertrain calibration and complex systems interactions (controls software, propulsion system, climate).

Strong analytical capability with a data‑driven decision‑making mindset.

Proficiency in calibration tools such as ATI.

Even better, you may have...

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

In‑depth knowledge of the powertrain calibration development process.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical teams.

Excellent leadership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
