70% FTE, 8 hour day shifts with a start time between 6:30am - 10:00am with on‑call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities

Provide care, including patient triage, procedure preparation, intra‑procedure care, and post‑procedure recovery phases.

Be an active member of the multidisciplinary team and collaborate in development, execution, and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care or critical pathway.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred

Work Experience

6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience Required

Specific to EP Lab—Previous moderate sedation experience Required

Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience Preferred

Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital‑wide project work Preferred

Experience in an academic medical setting Preferred

Specific to Gastro/Endo & Generations—Previous moderate sedation experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required

Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Required

Certification in area of specialty Preferred
