Casey Auto Group is seeking an Apprentice Collision Estimator to work with our Collision Center team!

ready to take your career in a new direction? Casey Collision Center is looking for an Apprentice Estimator to join our team.
We are looking for a professional who understands vehicle systems, excels at customer service, and is eager to learn the specialized world of collision repair. In this role, you will be mentored by industry veterans to become the bridge between insurance carriers, customers, and technicians.
Schedule:
Full-time. Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm. One Saturday per month from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Responsibilities
Customer Excellence:
Greet customers, manage scheduling, and keep customers updated.
The Art of Estimating:
Train to prepare detailed repair plans. You will learn the "blueprinting" process to ensure precision from the first tear down.
Workflow Coordination:
Learn to dispatch work fairly to technicians and coordinate parts to keep the shop moving efficiently.
Insurance Relations:
Develop professional relationships with insurance adjusters, learn to navigate assignments, and supplement approvals.
Quality Control:
Assist in final inspections to ensure every vehicle meets or exceeds Casey Collision Center’s standards before delivery.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate electronic notes and audit paperwork for 100% completeness.
Qualifications
Automotive Service Experience is required,
but no collision experience is needed.
Technical Literacy:
A strong working knowledge of mechanical vehicle systems and the ability to interpret technical catalogs.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills. You must be comfortable explaining complex repairs to customers in a way they understand.
Growth Mindset:
A desire to transition into the collision industry and a commitment to learning new software and repair methodologies.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations (OSHA, hazardous waste).
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Ensure warranty and transportation claim procedures are followed as learned.
