Position Overview for Laundry Aide We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort of our community, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for our residents and guests. The ideal candidate is dedicated to excellence and takes pride in creating a clean and organized space.
Key Responsibilities as a Laundry Aide
Linen & Laundry Services: Handle washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal laundry with care and efficiency.
Supply Management: Monitor and restock cleaning and laundry supplies while ensuring proper storage and usage.
Resident Interaction: Provide friendly and respectful service, fostering positive relationships with residents.
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic living environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Operate laundry machines and other housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
Waste Disposal: Properly handle and dispose of trash and soiled linens in accordance with health regulations.

Knowledge of infection control practices is an advantage.
